Client: Virtual Education Provider
The client is a leading, fully accredited provider of high quality, highly accountable virtual education solutions for students in grades K-12. The client’s academy division delivers individualized learning to students through virtual public schools and a private online academy. This client provides for more than 300 schools, school districts, state departments of education, and other educational institutions, through which they serve thousands of students.

The Challenge:

The client, whose mission is to expand quality education technology and to help students achieve both academic and personal success, was dissatisfied with the Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools available in the virtual education space. They wanted to internally develop and customize a platform that would give teachers and students the most innovative and stress-free learning experience in the market. Their vision was a platform that would address every aspect of an online school, which includes content delivery, lesson planning, grading, chat features, performance analytics, etc. This platform would allow teachers and students both to have a fully customizable experience. The client knew this would require adding a significant amount of technical team members with highly specialized skill sets to complete the work in a short period of time.

The Solution:
