Jeff is a Principal in our Accounting Advisory practice who helps organizations navigate the complex intersection of accounting, technology, and sustainability. As a trusted advisor to clients across industries, Jeff tackles the tough stuff—from technical accounting challenges to large-scale technology implementations. He leads our Workiva practice, where his team transforms how finance, accounting, and audit functions operate, making reporting processes faster, more accurate, and significantly less painful. Partnering with CFOs and finance leaders, Jeff advises clients on complex technical accounting matters and provides strategic advisory on M&A transaction accounting and integration challenges. He also guides organizations in transforming their end-to-end reporting operations, spanning monthly close processes to SEC filings and board reporting. Jeff also founded Eliassen's sustainability advisory practice, helping organizations build scalable ESG compliance and reporting programs that meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Prior to Eliassen, Jeff spent 14 years in public accounting, advising clients on financial reporting, technical accounting matters, and regulatory compliance across multiple industries. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside work, Jeff is a lifelong learner at heart who approaches everything with genuine passion and curiosity. His favorite things include spending time with his wife and daughters, coaching their youth sports teams, and traveling to new places as a family. When he’s not on the sidelines or exploring somewhere new, you’ll find him tending to his backyard apiary, designing 3D-printed solutions for problems that may or may not exist, expanding his numismatic collection, playing boardgames, exploring fine teas, or cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams.
