Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, delivering actionable insights by visualizing key performance metrics and trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions addressing operational and strategic needs. Ingest and validate data from SAP HANA and SAP IS-U, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules before downstream processing. Utilize Dagster and other orchestration tools to manage, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines, ensuring timely and reliable data availability for analytics. Perform data processing and analysis using Python for statistical modeling, pattern detection, predictive analytics, and uncovering trends across large datasets, maintaining all scripts and workflows in GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Write and optimize advanced SQL queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to support data retrieval, transformation, and integration with analytics platforms. Leverage AWS cloud services for data storage, processing, and integration with BI solutions, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency. Apply AI and machine learning techniques to extract insights and detect hidden patterns from large and diverse datasets, integrating structured and unstructured data sources to support advanced decision-making. Automate workflows and improve user interaction by integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with business processes and reporting solutions. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, delivering recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision-making. Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering, AI, cloud solutions, and analytics to continuously improve processes and technology stack. Job located in Reading, MA, but position allows remote work from home.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience as a Data Visualization Developer or any related occupation.
Offered salary is not required by the DOL to be posted on the employer website posting, but if it is necessary for Eliassen’s website format, the offered wage is $55/hour.
