Carl Newton is Vice President and Principal with the Eliassen Group, with over 20 years of in-depth controllership, technical accounting, process improvement, audit and financial reporting experience. Carl leads the Accounting Advisory group; a group of 60+ former public accounting and industry talent, in performing a variety of technical accounting, external reporting, operational accounting and transaction related client services.
Prior to Eliassen, within public accounting, Carl led assurance related services for several large multi-national public companies. Through his experiences at Eliassen, Carl has developed a diverse skillset that allows him to comfortably lead and provide a variety of consulting services within the Accounting Advisory space.
In his free time, Carl loves to exercise, go camping and spend time with his family.
