WAKEFIELD, MA - Eliassen Group, Inc., a software and information technology staffing company, today announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art Web site, www.eliassen.com, with enhanced features for both candidates and clients.

The site features innovations designed to streamline the placement process for both candidates and Eliassen clients hiring those candidates. It also aims to eliminate the impersonal nature of most internet job boards by maintaining many personal service features traditionally associated with Eliassen.

"We carefully planned and developed a site with the needs of our clients and candidates as our absolute top priorities," said Mona Eliassen, founder and CEO of the Eliassen Group. Once candidates create their profile, they can revisit the site to view their updated job search matches. New positions which match the personalized criteria are also automatically emailed to the candidates. Clients can search for candidates by specific skill categories, view candidate profiles and save desirable profiles in a "shopping basket" for further action. After clients select potential candidates online, they continue to work with an Eliassen account executive to facilitate the interview and hiring process.

"We have seen our company double in size over the past two years to where we now have over 500 consultants out on assignment," said John Larson, Eliassen president. "This Web site will help us enhance the services we provide to our increased candidate and client base and allow us to continue to grow our business."

Eliassen will also launch a unique print, web and outdoor advertising campaign to promote the new site beginning later this month.

Founded in 1989, Eliassen Group is based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, with additional offices in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
