Director of Sales
Job Description



Location: Wakefield, MA


PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Successful candidate in this role will have leadership qualities and strategic vision to make a plan for success and execute the plan both by selling as well as training and mentoring others. Will assure that the right people are on the team, in the right seats and that superior leadership is in place.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Will actively sell to clients through Account Executives on team
  • Will be active member of Eliassen Group’s Staffing Leadership Team
  • Review current methods for local sales, make recommendations for new methods and implement (ie: which clients/prospects to call/where to focus time and energy across sales staff)
  • Work with Director of Recruiting to enhance lead pass program and effectively manage
  • Implement effective metrics approach and track closely via weekly 1:1 meetings with each AE in order to identify and coach through any potential issues
  • Leverage existing business in other divisions in the company while building cooperative relationships
  • Become proficient in Eliassen’s systems, procedures and Best Practices as well as recommend new ones
  • Work with Account Executives in order to distribute accounts when applicable and necessary in the best interest of the company and the team
  • Work with Account Executives to add value to such activities as strategic account reviews and presentations
  • Will partner with recruiters to assure superior teamwork and high level of quality requirements as well as strong close ratio’s

ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have proven leadership and team building skills
  • Must be able to attract and maintain key talent through industry expertise and leadership skills
  • Must be strategic in his/her thought process as well as tactical in day to day activities in order to achieve strategic goals
  • Will be a strong leader as well as contributor to the sales team in terms of work ethic, performance and activity Ability to successfully integrate into the Eliassen culture
  • Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience
