Eliassen Group Appoints Robert Cuneo as Chief Information Officer  

IT Veteran Joins Leading Technology Staffing and Clinical Data Management Consulting Firm

Wakefield, Mass. – March 15, 2010 – Eliassen Group, a leading technology staffing and clinical data management consulting firm, announced the addition of Robert Cuneo as chief information officer. Mr. Cuneo brings more than 25 years of experience driving IT, technical operations and product development from a range of companies including Mirror Image Internet, Avid Technology, Pinnacle Systems, Cognex Corporation, WatchPoint Media, Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and Data Terminal Systems.

Prior to joining Eliassen Group, Mr. Cuneo served as vice president of technical operations and engineering at Mirror Image Internet, a global network for online content, application, transaction and content delivery, streaming media and Web computing. Other previous roles included senior development and program manager at Avid Technology/Pinnacle Systems, vice president of engineering and IT at WatchPoint Media Systems, executive director of engineering and acting vice president of IT at Cognex Corporation, and senior development and IT management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and Data Terminal Systems.

Mr. Cuneo began his career at Data Terminal Systems, where he advanced to senior management positions in software engineering, quality assurance and IT management. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. in management information systems from Northeastern University and has pursued continuing education studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been a featured presenter at a range of industry seminars and conferences and is a current IEEE member.
